HANDBRAKE is a free tool for converting video from nearly any format to a selection of modern, widely supported codecs that mp4, m4v and mkv.
The video result can be greater or smaller than the original one based on how to setting it.
the smaller size video with similar resolution result could be achieved as long you don't over setting it.
it also support multi-platform such as mac, window and linux.
HOW TO USED IT:-
1. you could download handbrake from it main pages here"DOWNLOAD LINK".
2. After that you can install it.
3. When you open handbrake it will show like this.
4. From here, you can just drag file or folder you want to re size it or by pressing the source and find the file or folder.
(notes: when you drag a folder It will detect all video file automatically in it.
5. To make the video smaller, you must go to video.
6. To make the file smaller all you need is to adjust quality and optimize video.
QUALITY ADJUST.
- it based on the file you want to make smaller, if the video files is 780p
or 1080p, it shoould be around "30-25"
- for file smaller than that, i suggested that around "24-19"
-it must be tested to find the right resolution you want.
7. To increase it quality , which means bigger size, you can decrease the constat quality value.
8. for optimize video setting, the slower the process your select the smaller the video size but it based on the files, some does not have much different.
9. for audio setting, it will automanically add defoult sound in the video but if you have more sound for example your have different language audio in the video, you must add it by youself,
all audio will be listed under it\, you just select it and add it.
10. For subtitle setting, it the same as the sound.
11. press start and wait it done processing.
notes: you can queue if want to resize many video file.
